Looking for the perfect gift for the Ram Trucks person in your life?

Just in time for the holiday season, Ram Trucks has introduced a very special book in partnership with legendary publisher National Geographic. Entitled The Farmer in All of Us: An American Portrait, this beautiful hardcover book will be available in retail stores in the spring of 2014, or it can be purchased online now at Ram Trucks Outfitter for $45.

The 300-page coffee-table book is a collection of original photographs celebrating the American farmer. They include many of the images commissioned by the Ram Truck brand for its renowned 2013 Super Bowl commercial, which was in turn based on broadcaster Paul Harvey’s famous 1978 essay, “So God Made a Farmer.”

Ten of the world’s great photographers were sent out through the heartland for three weeks to capture the essence of America’s farmers, with Harvey’s words serving as their guide. The 240 stunning images they captured are accompanied by a foreword by Paul Harvey Jr. and the personal narratives of the ten photographers themselves.

Every copy of the book purchased supports a minimum contribution of $25,000 by Ram Trucks to the National FFA Organization’s “Give the Gift of Blue” program, which donates the traditional blue corduroy jackets of the FFA to members who would not otherwise be able to own one.

“Supporting farmers isn’t just about those who till the soil, it’s about reminding America who we are and where our greatness comes from,” said Olivier Francois, chief marketing officer for Chrysler Group, LLC. “This book truly brings the ‘Farmer’ story to life, and continues to give back in support of the amazing students of the FFA who embody this spirit every day.”
