Chicago Auto Show Recap: A New Level of Luxury for Ram Trucks

The Chicago Auto Show was an exciting time for Ram Trucks. The Ram ProMaster® and ProMaster City were featured prominently on the floor display, along with several other members of the Ram Truck lineup – and not to mention one new member of this guts-and-glory-filled family.

Last month, we gave you a truck with edge. This month, we’re giving you a truck with class and luxury.

On Thursday, February 12, 2015, at the Chicago Auto Show, we unveiled the newest luxury-addition to the Ram Truck lineup: the 2015 Ram Laramie Limited.

“The fact is, the market for a premium pickup truck has been exploding,” said Bob Hegbloom, President & CEO of the Ram Brand.

Trucks are used more than ever as the family vehicle, the hard-working hauler, the mobile office, and for weekend getaways. Ram customers don’t mind spending a little more to make sure that their truck covers all of their needs, and the 2015 Ram Laramie Limited will do just that.

Ram owners come from a variety of backgrounds, but all have one thing in common: the great amount of time they spend in their trucks. Which is why we’re giving you a truck that takes luxury to a whole new level.

“Affluent pickup owners who used to take their ‘other’ vehicle out for the evening, are now taking their trucks … and their truck makes a big statement as their luxury vehicle,” said Hegbloom.

Laramie Limited

The Ram Laramie Limited is a “Black-Tie” alternative to the popular southwestern-themed Laramie Longhorn.  This trim is offered on 1500, 2500 and 3500 models.

“Customers told us they wanted their top-of-line Ram Limited to have a unique and distinctive appearance,” said Hegbloom.

Laramie Limited Grille

Our traditional crosshair grille has been revamped with the bold, distinctive “RAM” lettering against billet, horizontal lines.

Laramie Limited Headlamps

The jewel-like LED headlamps were set in a specially redesigned bezel.

This truck takes detail to a whole new level with brushed-silver Ram-branded sill plates.

The new rear design resembles the front theme, with polished chrome, a distinctive LED tail lamp treatment, and tailgate stamped with a large bright chrome “RAM” so the competition always know who’s in the lead.

The interior is just as impressive as the exterior with customized, detailed stitching.
